Biography
Stuart Fraser has been a member of the Court of Common Council of the City of London since 1993. He is currently Chairman of the Policy and Resources Committee, which is responsible for setting the strategic priorities, approving resources and deciding on the policies of the City of London. The Committee also leads on the City of London’s relations with both Westminster and Brussels. Stuart is a former Chairman of the City of London’s Planning & Transportation Committee and served as Deputy Chairman of the Policy & Resources Committee from 2003 to April 2008. Stuart represents the City of London on a number of outside bodies including London Councils and the Board of Legacy Trust UK. Stuart Fraser has worked in the City since 1963 and is currently a divisional director of Brewin Dolphin Securities, the UK’s largest independent quoted stockbroker, where he is responsible for the management of Private Client, Charitable and Trust investment portfolios.
